Another Great Work out

I went to walk and train out in the woods/nature area near to where I live last evening. It was just after sunset; you know; the deepening dusk where colors fade and the erie dark of the woods overtakes your senses. I like to go at this time as my sight and vision are not as keen forcing me to "listen" and "feel"--a heightened perception needed. The sounds of "things" in the darkness, and the not knowing what lies in the "scary dark" ravine. Worked on an older kung fu form "Golden Buddha" fist. a beggining form but a great work out and many great techniques. Also practised "stomping" around the various terrain to work on my "reality" footing and leg work; meaning in a real life situation you should be prepared for various obstacles and terrain that you do not encounter in a dojo or classroom. Attached to all my training and studies is the constant awareness of "Reality" on the street. There is NO possible way to know ahead of time what you will have to deal with in an encounter on the street. So we train for real!!!
